I've covered major league, minor league, college and high school baseball games for more than 18 years. Today, for the first time, I finally was able to capture "ball-on-bat." It wasn't at a pro game or a minor league game. I was photographing my son play Little League on Opening Day in Lawrenceville. It was his second at-bat. He hit a single up past the shortstop. He was all smiles. I was too - not only for him, but also for myself getting that "ball-on-bat" moment as I photographed my son. It was a great day for both of us.
